Disney Hollywood Studios

There are altogether six themed areas in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and they include Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, Streets of America, Animation Courtyard, Pixar Place, and Sunset Boulevard. The Hollywood Boulevard is the main entrance and street of the theme park, and it is lined with numerous stores selling an extensive range of Disney merchandise. It is also the place where you can view the theme park’s most spectacular parades, such as the Pixar Block Party Bash. Disney’s Hollywood Studios icon, the Sorcerer’s Hat, and a replica of the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theater are located at the end of Hollywood Boulevard.

Echo Lake is a small lagoon that forms one of the ears of Hidden Mickey, a representation of the famous cartoon character Mickey Mouse that has been subtly included in the landscape design of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The main attractions of the Echo Lake include The American Idol Experience, A.T.A.S. Hall of Fame Plaza, Sounds Dangerous!, Star Tours, Jedi Training Academy, and the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. At the Streets of America, you can explore street sets that resemble New York and San Francisco, as well as enjoy wonderful shows such as Jim Henson’s Muppet Vision 3D and the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show.

The Animation Courtyard provides an opportunity for you to meet your favorite cartoon characters and learn how a cartoon character is created. It also features two fantastic live shows, namely, the Playhouse Disney and the Voyage of the Little Mermaid. If you love Pixar movies, you will surely have a grand time at the Toy Story Midway Mania! in Pixar Place. This attraction offers interactive games that are hosted by various Toy Story characters. The Sunset Boulevard is the place in Disney’s Hollywood studios where you can enjoy thrilling rides. It has two exciting rides called The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, as well as two amphitheaters for live performances.

If you wish to find a place to have a good meal or some refreshments while you are exploring Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it is recommended that you visit the 50s Prime Time Café. The 50s Prime Time Café is located near Echo Lake, and it is a TV-themed restaurant that offers a wide range of classic American food, such as golden fried chicken, pot roast, and traditional meatloaf. All dishes served in the restaurant are prepared with traditional recipes, and they are simply delectable. The restaurant also has special tables called “TV Tables”, which are equipped with television sets that show popular sitcoms of the 1950s. The 50s Prime Time Café is certainly one of the best places for family dining in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
